Who we are Paisley Sinfonia was formed as St James Orchestra in 1964 to accompany a performance by the church choir and thereafter developed an identity of its own. Our rehearsal venue is Paisley North Church, Abercorn St, Paisley PA3 4AB. In 2014 the orchestra celebrated its Golden Jubilee. Read more here!
Our current membership is approximately 55 and is made up of musicians of all ages and abilities who simply enjoy making music together.
The orchestra is run by an elected committee of 9 members plus the conductor ex officio.
